Awards:
Best Documentary Film - Wolgin Award, 2001:
A superbly crafted
cinematic essay, realized with great humor and intelligence, that uses its
post-modern structure and the specificity of the video medium to propel a
local idea into a delightful celebration of insight, humanity, and
universal relevance. The jury would like to emphasize that, in this film,
editing, cinematography, music, script writing, and inventive direction
depart from the realm of technique to become meaning and substance. We all
loved this movie, and so the jury awards the Wolgin Award For Best
Documentary to Ayelet Menahemi and Elona Ariel for It's About Time.
